EPIC makes it fun and easy to capture gigapixel panoramas with most compact digital cameras and works seamlessly with GigaPan Stitch software and GigaPan.com. Compact and lightweight, yet powerful and durable - the GigaPan EPIC is ideal for travel and adventure. See below for a complete list of features. They can be extended to maximum height in minutes by pushing up and locking each telescoping section. Made of carbon fiber tubes, they are light-weight, portable and are ideal for on-the-go situations and areas not accessible to vehicle mounted units.

Fanotec poles are modular in design. Users can start up with a small module and gradually build up the height by stacking it to a larger module.
Nodal Ninja 5 w/R-D16 Rotator FACTORY IRREGULAR

What is a factory irregular? - See Nodal Ninja Forum explanation here.

Best of the Best - Combines our NN5 with the RD16 advanced rotator. Click stops as small as 3.75 degrees. Shoot giga-pixel images up to 200mm focal length.

The Nodal Ninja 5 series pano heads were built off the award winning NN3. Slightly bigger stronger and more robust this series will support heavier cameras and lenses. Less than 2 lbs in weight this series is best suited for those with larger cameras like the Nikon D3X or Canon EOS. Some medium format camera will also fit. And lenses as well as cameras usuing optional battery grips. You can also mount your camera in both landscape (horizontal) and portrait (vertical) orientation.
To learn which Nodal Ninja series pano head is best suited for you visit our product selector page click here

The only difference between NN5 and NN5L "Lite" is that NN5 has the ability to lock the upper rotator lock in any 15 degrees increment. These positive locks can be disengaged on the fly without having to remove your camera by using the built-in locking lever. Because of the positive locks NN5 is able to support up to approx 22 lbs of weight (10 KG). Ideal regular use working load should be about half the maximum weight load.
NOTE: If your camera or camera grip has an offset tripod mount (from center of lens) you will need to order a t-adapter (sold separately).

Lower R-D16 Rotator Features:
Part in a series of Fanotec's new top of the line CNC machined advanced rotators. These rotators combines high precision, ease of use, compactness, light weight and durability. The inner ball bearing construction also provides for very fluid rotation. You can now change click stops on-the-fly. Ideal in time sensitive situations in which shooting must be completed quickly, such as in shooting high resolution multi-image mosaics or shooting the same scene at different focal lengths.

The RD16 has 16 different selectable click options suitable for wide angle, standard and long focal length shooting to approx. 200mm.

Features you'll find in this new class of rotators.

The Nikon version produces a diagonal angle of view of 180 (154 for Sigma, 167 for Canon). The diagonal field of view of this fisheye lens produces striking images with exaggerated perspective and distortion

Close-up Photography
The minimum focusing distance of 13.5cm, and maximum magnification 1:3.3 allows subjects to be as close as 1.8cm from the lens front element. The close focusing capability together with a large depth of field allow close up photography that covers objects surrounding the photographic subject.

Excellent optical performance
The Integral hood blocks out extraneous light and the Super Multi-Layer Coating minimizes flare and ghosting, creating superior image quality.

High speed auto focus
It is equipped with an inner focusing system that creates high definition and excellent image quality over the whole frame. The HSM(Hyper Sonic Motor)ensures fast and quiet autofocusing and allows full-time manual focus override by rotation of the focus ring.

Fast F2.8 maximum aperture
The fast f/2.8 maximum aperture produces a bright image in the viewfinder making this lens ideal for low light photography.

It's successor, due out early 2011, will be modular in design and built to even greater precision standards. But not to worry - if you need NN5 series now we have some great deals on factory irregulars (cosmetic).
As models sell out the "add to cart" button will disappear.

Nodal Ninja 5 with Standard Rotator FACTORY IRREGULAR

What is a factory irregular? - See Nodal Ninja Forum explanation here.

The standard lower rotator uses reversible detent rings from 10 degrees to 120 degrees stops. Unlike the 5L the upper rotator can be locked in any 15 degree increment.

The new Tokina AT-X 107 DX is a full-frame fish-eye lens that gives the photographer a 180 degree field of view with dramatic curvature of field or “fish-eye” effect. With this lens an entire view or vista can be captured, wider than the human eye can see.

The AT-X 107 opens an entirely new dimension of photography. The front element of the AT-X 107 DX has a newly formulated WR or “Water Repellent" optical coating on the glass. This new coating makes marks such as spots left by water or finger-prints much easier to clean than standard multi-coating.** The rear optical group of the lens contains 1 SD (Super-Low Dispersion) glass element to reduce the number of elements (pieces of glass) in the optical design in order to make the lens more compact, light-weight and faster focusing.

Features:

Ultra Wide Angle

This lens enables the shooting of fisheye images with a 180° angle of view and a focal length of 10mm. Furthermore, the lens offers super wide-angle performance that allows photographer to make use of dramatic changes in angle of view resulting from slight changes in focal length.

Equivalent focal length of 16mm-27mm in 35mm format, when used with Canon digital SLR cameras.

High Optical Performance

Employing ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass, this lens effectively compensates to overcome chromatic aberration throughout the image. And with improved optical architecture and a ghost-free lens coating, ghosting and flare are suppressed to produce clear, high-quality images.

Exclusive Digital Design

The image circle of the lens has been created to match the smaller image recording area of digital SLR cameras. This ensures precise optical performance ideally suited to the camera's digital imaging characteristics.

WP Coating

WP (Water Proof) coating made of a special fluoride compound has been applied to the front surface of the new lens through the use of a unique evaporation process. As a result, the lens offers excellent water- and oil-repellent performance and makes for easier cleaning should the lens be accidentally smeared with fingerprints or cosmetics.

Super Macro

An internal focus system allows photographers to focus from as close as approx. 1" (approx. 2.5 cm), giving them the power to fill the whole frame with surprisingly small subjects.

Quick-Shift Focus System

The Quick-Shift Focus System allows to instantly shift to manual focus once the subject is captured by AF.

The sensor and processor combination offers ISO settings of 100-6400 (expandable to 12800) and clever in-camera noise reduction technology further improves the EOS 550D's low-light performance.

The 3 inch Clear View LCD screen with 1040k dot resolution provides remarkable clarity for both composition with the 550D's Live View Mode and for reviewing your images and videos. Despite being considerably smaller than many Pro DSLRs, the 550D offers a continuous shooting rate of 3.7 frames per second and a 9 point auto-focus system, making it capable of grabbing fast-paced action shots that other cameras may struggle with.

Price:£666.66 Special Price:£0.00
